This naturally occurring product is offered in three distinct colours: Plum, Blue and Green and is graded 12mm down to fines which packs down well to provide wheelchair, pram and cycle friendly paths within ecologically sensitive situations. Slatepath can be hand laid or paver laid for larger areas and when rolled to a satisfactory compaction provides an attractive surface suitable for many applications including: rural footpaths, golf courses, sports surfaces, country parks, stately homes, cycle tracks, tow paths, car parks, caravan parks, English Heritage and National Trust sites. Slatepath is a secondary aggregate, produced as a by-product of roofing slate production over the centuries and it compliments Long Rake Spar’s extensive range of recycled products.
